About the project
Building B at the Piraeus Port Plaza 3 complex exemplifies adaptive reuse and sustainable design. Originally part of an industrial complex, the former Papastratos tobacco industrial facilities, it was transformed into a modern office building achieving LEED Gold certification.
The retrofit incorporated advanced HVAC systems, energy-efficient lighting, and water-saving fixtures, significantly reducing operational costs and environmental impact.
Façade optimization balances comfort and energy use. Materials with recycled and regional content, reduce the carbon footprint of the refurbishment even further.
This redevelopment aligns with the vision of creating a vibrant, environmentally conscious business hub in Piraeus, setting a benchmark for sustainable office design in Greece.
