About the project
The project scope includes the major renovation of Piraeus Port Plaza 2 - Building E, an existing 7-story building and its reformation into a new office building incorporating all terms of design of modern workspaces and office technologies. The building houses a Call Center. This building provides a modern, and contemporary office environment to host a population of approximately 2.000 employees, working daily in 3 shifts. In the renovated building, the main structure of the initial building has been preserved and reinforced to meet the needs of the new use and regulations. Outside the building perimeter on the basement level a 450m² storm water tank has been constructed, which collects the storm water in order to be reused for irrigation. The design concept of all office areas is industrial with unconcealed airways, suspended lighting and piping and vinyl floors. On every floor of the renovated building there is provision for natural light and ventilation. All working stations in the main open office area have a 360° view of the outside and surrounding space, and a unique view of the port of Piraeus to the South and the surrounding Athenian mountains to the North and East.“
