LEED Earth recognized Boomerang Athens
We are proud to announce that Boomerang Athens has officially been recognized as the FIRST LEED® Platinum Residential Project in Greece — a landmark achievement for sustainable development in the country and an important milestone for the Greek built environment.
Even more significantly, the project has been recognized under the LEED Earth program by the U.S. Green Building Council, an initiative created to celebrate pioneering LEED projects that establish new benchmarks for sustainability leadership in their countries. The program was designed to encourage and recognize “first-of-their-kind” achievements that help expand the global impact of green building practices.
As the world’s most widely recognized green building certification system, LEED provides a framework for creating healthier, more efficient, and environmentally responsible buildings that deliver long-term value for both people and communities.
Boomerang Athens demonstrates that residential developments in Greece can successfully combine architectural excellence, environmental performance, occupant wellbeing, and innovation — setting a new standard for the future of sustainable living in the region.
This achievement would not have been possible without the vision, dedication, and collaboration of an exceptional team.
We are grateful to have contributed to a project that not only marks a historic milestone for Greece, but also positions the country among a very limited number of European markets delivering LEED Platinum-certified residential excellence at this level of performance and recognition.
Boomerang Athens stands as proof that Greece can lead internationally in sustainable residential development and contribute meaningfully to the transition toward a more resilient, low-carbon built environment.
