Founder & General Manager

Sandra Friederike Bär

After 17 years working with DIMAND S.A. Sandra founded BEYOND SUSTAINABILITY. With her experience as head of sustainability at a major real estate developer in Greece, Sandra had the opportunity to coordinate sustainability issues, during all project phases, starting from the selection of the location of a project, continuing during all phases of design and construction, including the operation and maintenance of the project.

She has been exclusively involved in the subject of sustainability since 2010 and is responsible for the first LEED certified project in Greece, the KARELA Office Park (LEED Gold 2013). Since then she has been involved in 23 certified LEED projects and more than 15 ongoing ones.

Her involvement in sustainable building design began with her studies at the Technical University of Munich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, where she took courses in solar design, lighting design and garden architecture.

She is a registered Architect Engineer in Greece and Germany.
